Picasso Marble Buffalo by Clive Hustito

A large striking cream, golden, yellow ocher, tan and gray veined Picasso marble buffalo carved by Clive Hustito looking slightly to its right side with round turquoise inlaid eyes. Clive chip carved the mane and face then left the hind legs, feet and tail. In Zuni tradition, the buffalo is a revered symbol of endurance, strength, and life-sustaining abundance. As a powerful creature that provided food and materials, it represents sacrifice, the ability to overcome personal weaknesses, and great emotional courage. Buffalo spirit reminds one to remain grounded and steadfast. Artist: Clive Hustito (signed) Size: 2 in. wide x 5-1/2 in. long x 3-3/4 in. tall #64694
