Labradorite Medicine Bear by Kateri Sanchez

A hard to photograph blue labradorite medicine bear with its nose to the ground and turquoise inlaid eyes- carved by Kateri Sanchez. There is a magenta fire all over this bear interspersed with gray veins that run diagonally in both directions. Kateri has added a fantastic offering bundle to the top of the bear's back with sinew featuring six apple coral and six turquoise round beads surrounding one long blue lace agate oval shaped bead. The Zuni believe the Creator made the bear to be a guardian for mankind. The bear is endowed with curative powers, strength, adaptability and courage - powers that can influence both the spiritual and physical realm.
