Black Marble Horse by Andres Lementino

A black marble horse with good conformation and turquoise inlaid eyes delivered to Sunshine by Andres Lementino. Andres has inlaid his double Zuni sun face of mother-of-pearl, jet, turquoise and apple coral on the left side of the horse's body - highlighting a sun face surrounded by four turquoise triangles with strips of mother-of-pearl inlaid around the triangular shaped outer edges. The horse represents the power of the animal world literally "harnessed" for the benefit of the human race. Horse medicine calls one to expand one's own potential abilities, tethering control of the environment, inter-species communication and offers us a good example of cooperation. The Zuni believe the horse has healing powers. Artist: Andres Lementino (signed) Size: 3/4 in. wide x 3-3/8 in. long x 3-3/8 in. tall #64515
