A white and gray streaked marble rabbit with turquoise inlaid eyes. Carved by Andres Lementino, the rabbits ears are carved in a "v" shape with concave lines carved on each ear to show the pinna inner ear. Andres has given the rabbit a lovely offering bundle around its neck featuring eight turquoise, six red glass and five pearl beads surrounding one large turquoise pendant bead. The Zuni believe the rabbit represents virtue, serenity, quiet talent and restraint. The rabbit also symbolizes fertility, luck, and creativity. Often associated with springtime and new beginnings, these happy critters are a reminder that life is full of possibility.
