Antler Badger by Claudia Peina

A cream colored antler badger carved by Claudia Peina looking straight at the viewer with pen shell inlaid eyes and burnished snout. Claudia conceived the stripe as two incised lines with cross hatch lines added inside them. There are lines running diagonally from the badger stripe on both sides as well as the on the feet. Note; that the porous dark yellow umber and gray spotted bone marrow area of the antler is placed on the badger's face and under the neck. Badger medicine bolsters one's defenses; most especially self preservation skills by focusing/guiding the spirit to be more tenacious and grounded when working towards a goal.
