Nevada Sandstone aka; Wonderstone Wolf by Bernard Laiwakete

A fantastic Nevada sandstone wolf carved by Bernard Laiwakete, the father of Kenric Laiwakete with turquoise inlaid eyes as as well as a turquoise double heart line - starting from the mouth and extending horizontally down each side. Nevada Wonderstone is a highly prized, colorful variety of banded volcanic rhyolite (specifically a welded tuff) primarily found near Fallon, Nevada. Known for its swirling, Liesegang-banded patterns of red, orange, and yellow iron oxide, Wolf medicine reminds us to share our knowledge for the benefit of all - to be teachers and pathfinders and to enjoy the journey that life presents. Wolf teaches everyone about the importance of loyalty. Artist: Bernard Laiwakete (signed) Size: 3/4 in. wide x 4-5/8 in. long x 1-1/4 in. tall #64304
