Antler Bird, Snow Owl by Robert Michael Weahkee

Robert Michael Weahkee's new style antler snow owl - picked up directly from this talented artist. Robert has burnished the beak then added turquoise inlaid eyes with jet pupils to concave carved eye sockets. Lines are incised around the top of the beak emphasizing it and creating depth. Jet pigment has been inlaid into incised triangles at the top of the wings then the owl has been given a lovely offering bundle/necklace composed of clear quartz, blue aquamarine and howlite beads - quite lovely ya'll! Snowy white owls are very wise creatures. They also have very deep spiritual meaning in many Indigenous cultures. A snowy white owl might come to you at night to give you a message about change, to tell you to trust your inner wisdom, or even as a message from your ancestors.
