A small iron red colored pipestone eagle carved by Cody Nastacio looking slightly to its right side with turquoise inlaid eyes. Cody carved the wings as one simplified form - extending backwards as if the eagle is about to take flight. There are minimal lines incised on the bottom of the wings to represent the feather rows. The eagle is the prey God of the celestial heavens - he represents conscious enlightenment and clarity. Eagle medicine helps man to gain perspective of self - namely in panoramic vision. The Zuni believe the creator made the eagle to be a teacher for mankind - and due to their ability to fly the highest; they can send our prayers to the great divine. Artist: Cody Nastacio (signed) Size: 1/2 in. wide x 2-1/4 in. long x 1-1/4 tall #64218
