Alabaster Wolf by Peter Gasper, Jr.

A cream, brown and golden ocher colored alabaster wolf with turquoise inlaid eyes and nicely incised tail, carved by Peter Gasper - the son of Dinah Gasper. Peter has added a lovely offering bundle to the top of the wolf's back with sinew featuring a gold-lip arrowhead toped with a turquoise and coral bead which in turn are surrounded by pen shell heishi. Wolf medicine reminds us to share our knowledge for the benefit of all - to be teachers and pathfinders and to enjoy the journey that life presents.
