A lovely round muted periwinkle colored angelite frog carved by Burt Awelagte with pin point turquoise inlaid eyes. The frogs feet/legs and tail are the most defined with a lovely polish making this frog a very hand hold-able go to. The Zuni believe the frog is a reminder that we are all the same - development wise - we begin as tiny fishlike creatures in the womb then we evolve from swimmers to creatures of the land. The frogs sings its song reminding us of our watery beginning. Artist: Burt Awelagte (signed) Size: 1-3/4 in. wide x 2 in. long x 1 in. tall #63908
