Apatite Bird, Parrot With Chick by Raymond Tsalate

A golden tinged antler parrot with its chick carved with great gusto by Ray Tsalate. Both birds have prominent pen shell inlaid eyes and a beak created from the same horn. The birds' wings are carved close to the body with one pipestone and two turquoise pigment lines inlaid to the wings. The tail has two turquoise and two pipestone lines inlaid on each side. Who ever buys this lovely duo will have fun placing them in different positions. Animals carved with their offspring, no matter the species; suggests the great bond that exists between the parent and child. The parrot energizes your inner diplomat - helping one to find compromises for situations without breaking a sweat.
