A swirling dark maroon and muted brown chocolate serpentine medicine bear carved by the medicine bear creator; Stewart Quandelacy with turquoise inlaid eyes and healing heart line. The heart line is similar to an EKG - which represent the electrical activity of the heart over time. The medicine bear shape is thought to resemble a cave opening - depicting a bear coming out of hibernation and the pose is the bear sniffing the ground for healing herbs. The Zuni believe the bear is endowed with curative powers, strength, adaptability and courage - powers that can influence both the spiritual and physical realm. Artist: Stewart Quandelacy Size: 5/8 in. wide x 2-7/8 in. long x 2-5/8 in. tall #63710
