Serpentine Bobcat by Wilfred Cheama

A plump, detailed muted cream, sage and grass green veined serpentine bobcat carved by Wilfred Cheama looking to its left side with turquoise inlaid eyes. Wilfred has strategically place a cream vein to run down the center of both sides - creating a natural heart line. The legs and feet are all carved in the round and the bobcat's ruff is nicely defined with fur lines incised all over the bobcat's body. To the Zuni, the bobcat is the prey God of the south - honored by the Zuni for being elusive, intelligent and a solitary and independent hunter.
