Pipestone Howling Wolf by Derrick Kaamasee

A plump pipestone howling wolf with turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Derrick Kaamasee looking up at the sky - though it must be noted that the mouth isn't forming a howl. Derrick has carved the feet in the round and the body is raised slightly off the ground in a crouching position. The tail is very fluffy with incised lines - contrasting nicely with the smooth polished body. The howling wolf symbolizes the call to the wild - howling for the guidance of the Great Spirit to become one's own destiny. Howling wolf calls one to focus on that which will bring protection, healing and hunting prowess - finding the secrets through trusting one's instincts Artist: Derrick Kaamasee (signed) Size: 1 in. wide x 2-1/2 in. long x 2-3/4 in. tall #63408
