Picasso Marble Bear With Cubs by Herbert Him

A striking gray, brown and black veined Picasso marble bear carved with its two cubs - all three have turquoise inlaid eyes and are carved from one stone thanks to the creative decisions made by Herbert Him! Herbert has incised a texture all over the bears' bodies to simulate fur and has all three looking up and outwards in striking poses. One cub is carved beside the elder bear with the second cub standing on the back of the other cub with it's other foot balanced on a rocky ledge. This cub has one front forearm holding on to the elder bear and the other is carved in the round. Animals carved with their offspring suggest the love and dedication it takes to raise a child - no matter the species. The Zuni believe the bear is endowed with curative powers, strength, adaptability and courage - powers that can influence both the spiritual and physical realm. Picasso marble stone has strong, calming, and grounding energies. It will boost your creativity, personal strength, and sense of self-discipline.
