A big plump cream colored antler medicine bear with turquoise inlaid eyes inlaid to a porous gray and brwon spotted bone marrow face highlighted with two turquoise eyes and a burnished snout - carved by Robert Michael Weahkee. Robert has placed another porous gray and darker brown spotted bone marrow area on the back end of the bear - then he added a fantastic offering bundle featuring a large turquoise arrowhead topped with aquamarine, lapis and sodalite beads. Note - there are some gray areas on the front legs and the bear's back end. The medicine bear shape is thought to resemble a cave opening - depicting a bear coming out of hibernation and the pose is the bear sniffing the ground for healing herbs. The bear is endowed with curative powers, strength, adaptability and courage - powers that can influence both the spiritual and physical realm. Artist: Robert Michael Weahkee (signed) Size: 1-5/8 in. wide x 4-1/4 in. long x 3-1/4 in. tall #63376
