Serpentine Howling Wolf by Jayne Quam

A gray, cream and lime green serpentine howling wolf with turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Jayne Quam. Jayne has added inlaid bits of shell and stones to the sides and center of the wolf's back utilizing bits of shell and stones featuring two jet inlaid triangles, spiny oyster, abalone and apple coral. Notable is the new inlaid chrysocolla crumbles all around the inlaid forms - that are then polished to create a smooth surface. The howling wolf symbolizes the call to the wild - howling for the guidance of the Great Spirit to become one's own destiny. Howling wolf calls one to focus on that which will bring protection, healing and hunting prowess - finding the secrets through trusting one's instincts.
