Picasso Marble Wolf by Lance Cheama

A nicely polished gray, brown and black veined Picasso marble low-to-the-ground prowling wolf with turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Lance Cheama. The feet are all carved in the round in a crouching position with the wolf's nose to the ground. Lance decided to keep fur lines minimal; so there are incised lines framing the face and back of the neck, then along the stomach and on the back of the legs. However there are lines all over the fluffy tail bringing up the rear. Also of note is a spiraling muted ocher vein above the hind legs. Wolf medicine reminds us to share our knowledge for the benefit of all - to be teachers and pathfinders and to enjoy the journey that life presents. Wolf teaches everyone about the importance of loyalty.
