Pipestone Badger by Garrick Acque

A vibrant brownish red pipestone badger with nicely rounded forms and turquoise inlaid eyes that look to the left side. Carved by Garrick Acque, the badger's back is polished then designs are incised on it - inspired by Pendleton rugs, we have been told. Garrick left a nicely polished clear space going down the middle of the back - creating the badger's stripe. The color of the incised patterns is a striking - due to the vibrance of this stone. Badger medicine bolsters one's defenses; most especially self preservation skills by focusing/guiding the spirit to be more tenacious and grounded when working towards a goal.
