Picasso Marble Badger by Herbert Him

A striking two tone black to gray and yellow ocher veined Picasso marble badger with turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Herbert Him protecting the village. The badger has feet carved in low relief and incised fur all over its body. Then Herbert incised a line running down the center of the carving in low relief then he incised rings around the tail. Herbert created the village/base from the same stone - incising the village on the edge of each side. Badger medicine bolsters one's defenses; most especially self preservation skills by focusing/guiding the spirit to be more tenacious and grounded when working towards a goal.
