Serpentine Dog, Dalmatian by Enrike Leekya

A cream colored serpentine Dalmatian with a jet inlaid snout and turquoise inlaid eyes in an expressive face that look up at the viewer - carved by Enrike Leekya. Enrike has inlaid a minimal amount of jet dots on the Dalmatian's body. The dog spirit animal is a powerful symbol of unconditional love, loyalty, and protection. Today, the Dalmatian is considered a symbol of good luck, and its spotted coat symbolizes the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. These animals are also considered excellent protectors and their coloring is believed to ward off evil spirits. Dalmatians have a third eyelid, which is known as the haw or nictitating membrane. This peculiarity allows this breed to see things that other dogs cannot, including spirits. Artist: Enrike Leekya (signed) Size: 7/8 in. wide x 2-7/8 in. long x 2-1/4 in. tall #62666
