A lovely yttrium fluorite maiden figure carved by Sandra Quandelacy featuring two corn maidens on one side and two maidens on the other - all have jet inlaid features. Each maiden has a turquoise or coral pendant with lovely jet inlaid dragonflies creating focal points along side each maiden. The corn maidens have nicely incised corn rows with four kernels inlaid to them - in jet, azurite/malachite and turquoise. Maidens symbolize abundance, fertility and feminine energy and the corn maiden is venerated in Zuni for giving up her life for the health of the community. Artist: Sandra Quandelacy (signed) Size: 1-5/8 in. wide x 3/4 in. deep x 2-1/8 in. tall #62401
