A small rust and muted cream colored alabaster roadrunner with turquoise inlaid eyes carved simply by Cody Nastacio. Cody has the feet as one simplified form in a base like fashion then he incised lines on the wings and body to symbolize feathers. Roadrunners stand out for their speed, their desire to run rather than fly and their bravery & endurance. Their 'X' shaped footprints are used by some tribes as a sacred symbol to ward off evil. Artist: Cody Nastacio (signed) Size: 3/8 in. wide x 3-1/4 in. long x 2 in. tall #62304
