A regal white marble horse with turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Andres Lementino - delivered to Sunshine Studio in May of 2024. Andres has carved the legs with good confirmation adding incised lines to the mane and long tail. Of note is Andres' signature Zuni sun face inlaid to the horses left hind leg - utilizing bits of apple coral, jet, turquoise, gold-lip and mother-of-pearl. The Zuni sun face is an ancient symbol in Zuni culture, representing the sacred Sun Father. The symbol's round motif depicts the Sun with a forehead split down the middle to reflect the eternal balance between sunrise and sunset. Artist: Andres Lementino (signed) Size: 7/8 in. wide x 3-3/4 in. long x 3-1/4 in. tall #62055
