Antler Medicine Bear by Troy Sice

A small precious grayish cream antler medicine bear with pen shell inlaid eyes carved by Troy Sice. The prominent dark gray spotted marrow area has been strategically placed on the lower part of the face, chest, front legs and back end of the bear's body. Troy has added a fantastic offering bundle to the top of the bear's back with sinew featuring and iridescent dark mother-of-pearl arrowhead and turquoise heishi that surround two opal beads with one branch coral bead placed in the center. The Zuni believe the bear is endowed with curative powers, strength, adaptability and courage - powers that can influence both the spiritual and physical realm.
