Saharan African Jasper Bobcat by Chris Sandoval

A small brown, brown umber and tan veined Royal Saharan African jasper bobcat with turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Chris Sandoval - delivered to Sunshine Studio by Chris Sandoval. Chris carved the legs as two simplified forms then he added a lovely offering bundle to the top of the bobcat's back with sinew featuring four turquoise beads surrounding a branch coral bead. The bobcat is the prey God of the south - honored by the Zuni for being elusive, intelligent and a solitary and independent hunter.
