Turquoise Buffalo by Stewart Quandelacy

A fantastic blue/green turquoise buffalo with a brown matrix, horns created from the same stone and turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Stewart Quandelacy. Stewart has incised fur on the buffalo's mane and then inlaid a turquoise healing heart line on the buffalo's left side. The buffalo is not a traditional subject for Zuni carvers though the medicine they bring is needed since the buffalo helps mankind to overcome all obstacles, builds emotional courage, brings abundance and initiates prayerfulness. Buffalo medicine teaches us that with positive energy at the forefront - we can overcome all obstacles. Artist: Stewart Quandelacy Size: 5/8 in. wide x 2-1/2 in. long x 1-5/8 in. tall #61721
