Antler Frog by Troy Sice

A new style antler cream and porous gray, brown standing antler frog carved by Troy Sice with dark mother-of-pearl and turquoise inlaid eyes. This striking frog has approximately thirty nine semi precious different size hand made dots added all over the back; featuring lapis, Mediterranean coral, malachite, Sleeping Beauty Mine turquoise, opal and dark mother-of-pearl, spiny oyster and jet to name most. Troy has placed the porous grayish tan marrow area on the frog's belly. This frog appears to want to jump into your hand! Frogs are the result of water so are associated with the prominence of rain and are used to encourage the growth of crops. Zuni believe the frog is a reminder that we are all the same - development wise - we begin as tiny fishlike creatures in the womb then we evolve from swimmers to creatures of the land. The frogs sings its song reminding us of our watery beginning. Artist: Troy Sice (signed) Size: 1-7/8 in. long x 3/4 in. wide x 2-5/8 in. tall #61392
