A white, brown umber and grayish tan streaked silver lace onyx medicine bear with turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Chris Sandoval. Chis added a lovely offering bundle to the top of the bear's back featuring two turquoise, two amethyst and two spiny oyster beads. Chris is the son of Melvin Sandoval and Jennifer Lunasee renowned for finding desirable, expensive stones and making top notch carvings. Silver lace onyx is a type of chalcedony onyx with minute traces of silver that has manganese dendrites in it that create lace like patterns. It is a unique and rare stone - found in the Calico Mountains outside of Yermo, California. The bear is endowed with curative powers, strength, adaptability and courage - powers that can influence both the spiritual and physical realm.
