Antler Fox With Bird by Raymond Tsalate

A cream and gray tinged antler fox with Sleeping Beauty Mine inlaid eyes, burnished ears and _ inlaid snout carved by Ray Tsalate - delivered to Sunshine Studio in September of 2023. Ray has carved the tail to wrap lyrically over the fox's back then he burnished the tail tip. The crème de la crème is the brown fossilized mammoth tooth squirrel placed at the center of the fox's offering bundle! The fox is strapped on top of the back with sinew and has four rounded turquoise beads and pen shell heishi on both sides. The fox is often called “sly”- this quality may be attributed to the way this creature camouflages itself while silently observing the world around it. The fox reaches his goal with cunning, agility and clever tactics. Artist: Raymond Tsalate (signed) Size: 3-3/4 in. long x7/8 in. wide x 1-3/8 in. tall #61072
