Mexican Opal Bird, Horned Owl by Chris Sandoval

A white and purple colored Mexican opal horned owl carved by Chris Sandoval looking to its right side with nicely contrasting coral inlaid eyes. Chris carved a small base from the same stone - allowing the the head and tail to extend outwards in opposite directions. The Zuni believe the owl can see what others can not - they assist in helping to root out deception and they can get to the essence of true wisdom.
