A cream, gold and gray colored antler mountain lion with its cub - both have turquoise inlaid eyes, burnished tail and ear tips with pen shell inlaid snouts - carved by Ray Tsalate and delivered to Sunshine Studio in April of 2023. Ray has strategically placed the porous marrow area of the horn on the elder lion's snout and front feet and has carved the pair in the traditional Zuni style - with the tails wrapping lyrically over the back. Whomever buys this duo will have fun placing the pair in different poses - just like me, when i took the lions' pictures! Animals with their offspring suggest the incredible bond that exists between the parent and the child - no matter the species. Artist: Raymond Tsalate (signed) Size: Mother: 1-7/8 in. long x 3/4 in. wide x 3/4 in. tall, Cub: 3/4 in. long x 1/2 in. wide x 1/2 in. tall #60646
