A gray, cream, yellow ocher and black colored leopard marble mountain lion carved on the prowl with its nose to the ground and big jet inlaid eyes. Carved by Lance Cheama, there is incised fur all over the lion's body and a 1-3/4 inch long tail brings up the rear. For the Zuni, the lion represents the guardian of the north - he is the master hunter, revered for intelligence, prowess and strength of will.
