A small Ivory rock, calcite frog with cream areas near the frog's feet and sterling silver eyes inlaid to the top of the rounded eye sockets. This lovely frog was carved by Debra Gasper and Ray Tsethlikai. Frogs are the result of water so are associated with the prominence of rain and are used to encourage the growth of crops. Zuni believe the frog is a reminder that we are all the same - development wise - we begin as tiny fishlike creatures in the womb then we evolve from swimmers to creatures of the land.
