60-Inch Round-to-Oval Mahogany Dining Table with Self-Storing Leaf

Crafted in richly figured mahogany, this round-to-oval extension dining table combines traditional styling with an unusually practical self-storing leaf. The 60-inch round top displays a dramatic pie-cut flame mahogany field arranged in a radial pattern, framed by a complementary veneer border and fine contrasting inlay. A molded edge and veneered apron give the top a tailored, substantial profile. The table opens symmetrically to receive the hinged 28-inch butterfly leaf, which folds and stores within the table when not in use, expanding the surface to an 88-inch oval for larger gatherings. Below, four turned columns rise from a substantial platform pedestal supported by sweeping saber legs. Recessed molded panels emphasize the graceful curvature of each leg, while brass-capped feet add a refined architectural accent. Finished in a warm mahogany tone, this versatile table offers the presence of a formal dining table with the convenience needed for everyday entertaining.
