6" Anthurium, Purple

Anthuriums are loved for their marvelous flowers and super strong plants, super easy to care for. Purple has deeply lobed, heart shaped leaves of deep green, on the large side. The flower is the main attraction in Anthuriums, with a modified leaf (the spathe) as what we usually think of as the flower, and the true flower, a small stem sticking up from the base of the spathe (the spadix) is covered in teeny, tiny, true blossoms. On this plant, the spadix is a muted pink. Purple is especially pretty with blooms in flaming fuchsia to purple with a sheer violet glow over all. They will last for weeks and flowering season is all year, making these perfect gifts for all occasions, and always can be found blooming. Use a spray bottle to mist and increase humidity levels without soaking the soil and roots. Light - Medium (3):  Plant prefers natural, diffused light. Can be placed in a spacious living room.
