The athlete can adjust the length of the rope as he wishes. The length of the jump rope can be adjusted with the thin allen key that comes with the jump rope. This hex key is in the instruction manual next to the jump rope. Please do not remove the tag of the jump rope and throw it away. After receiving your Allen Key, you can discard the tag if you wish. The rope part is steel wire coated with plastic outside.
