Onyx Fish, Blue Gill Fish by Tony Laiwakete

A large soft viridian green, cream, brown and raw sienna veined onyx fish with big turquoise inlaid eyes carved by Tony Laiwakete to rest on a small base carved from the same stone. We are calling this fish a blue gill fish.Tony has incised different patterns all over the body to represent the fish scales. The blue gill fish represents spiritual growth, determination, and courage that warriors should strive to embody in their everyday lives. It also symbolizes good luck and success on one’s journey, blessing those brave enough to make the quest. Fish are symbols of rebirth, fertility, the unconscious or higher self, luck, change, health, and feelings. Artist: Tony Laiwakete Size: 5-1/4 in. long x 1-3/8 in. wide x 2-7/8 in. tall #59482
