A fantastic cream and gray antler owl family carved by Troy Sice resting in a tree - delivered to Sunshine Studio in early July of 2022! Troy has given the parents at the top gold-lip and pen shell inlaid eyes - they are standing right next to each other with their heads turned in opposite directions - forming a heart shape of sorts. The pair have pipestone inlaid chest feathers and lovely incised wings and tail on the back side - highlighted with burnished tips. The base of the carving is also burnished - making the two owlets perched in a cubby hole stand out with their smooth cream colored bodies and pen shell inlaid features. Animals carved as a family suggests unity - an all for one and one for all mentality. Artist: Troy Sice (signed) Size: 2 in. long x 1-3/8 in. wide x 4-3/8 in. tall #59191 - Zuni Fetishes
