Artec Mitsubishi 4G63 Low Mount V-Band (Reverse Rotation) Turbo Exhaust Manifold [4G63-VBAND-RR-EX] - 58530041

4G63-VBAND-RR-EX / 58530041 EVO 4-9: CT9A, CP9A, CN9A   The Artec Evo 4-9 manifold also uses their 50-55 v-band system allowing Precision , Tial or Garrett turbo fitments. The wastegate flange also is designed to accept most 44/45/46mm v-band wastegates. *For competition (race) use ONLY. Check legality of aftermarket products with your local state, county, city authorities before purchasing. Artec's objective was to reduce manifold internal volume to sharpen response and to also keep is as high flowing as possible. To do this they used a non-tradition (in the aftermarket) reverse rotation design. This allowed Artec NOT to have to use tight radius bends.  This is because, the standard rotation turbos put the turbine inlet flange too close to the block. Instead a reverse rotation turbo design was used, in much the same way as Mitsubishi did with the OEM equipment. This allows the turbo to be mounted low without the use of tight radius bends.  It also keep the manifold very compact. This design uses a 33mm runner ID to help aid in very fast transient throttle response. --- ARTEC's revolutionary turbo manifolds with industry leading SUS347 stainless steel investment cast construction, are now available through GReddy Performance Products. All Artec manifolds are engineered and designed from the ground up, CFD simulated and, most importantly, tested in the real world to achieve maximum flow and heat dispersion. The cast stainless construction allows us to maximise flow and efficiency by having smooth merging angles and eliminating any restrictions from tight radius bends or runners. The result is a truly optimized manifold with consistent performance, resistant to heat pooling and cracking, plus a beautiful smooth exterior finish.
