A lovely cream tinged antler 'baby with twins' - what Ray Tsalate titled this carving when he delivered it to Sunshine Studio's front porch in September of 2020. All three of the babes have dark penn shell inlaid eyes and two have Mediterranean coral inlaid mouths with the third one having a Kingman mine turquoise mouth. The largest babe has a gold-lip feather adhered to her hair with sterling silver and wears a necklace composed of one turquoise, one lapis and two Mediterranean coral dots. The two baby dolls are strapped in slings to the larger child's back. Each sling has a decorative star adhered to it - one is a green serpentine dot with serpentine solidified paste and the other is a sugilite dot with solidified sugilite paste. The maiden symbolizes abundance, fertility and feminine energy. Artist: Raymond Tsalate (signed) Size: 7/8 in. wide x 3/4 in. deep x 5/8 in. tall #58009 - Zuni Fetishes
