This sweet lion has a fantastic offering bundle secured to the top of the back with sinew featuring a turquoise arrowhead and bead plus a coral bead and penn and melon shell heishi. For the Zuni, the lion represents the guardian of the north - he is the master hunter, revered for intelligence, prowess & strength of will.
