A cream & sage/olive green veined serpentine frog with turquoise inlaid eyes inlaid to round eye sockets by Peter Gasper, Jr. There's a fabulous offering bundle strapped on top with sinew featuring a gold-lip arrowhead, turquoise and coral beads and penn shell heishi. Frogs are the result of water so are associated with the prominence of rain & are used to encourage the growth of crops. Zuni believe the frog is a reminder that we are all the same - development wise - we begin as tiny fishlike creatures in the womb then we evolve from swimmers to creatures of the land.
