Fair Winds - 246 - Copper Art Block

Each Houston Llew Spiritile is carefully handmade using a series of intricate stencil techniques. From the beginning, Houston’s vision for his enameled artworks drew from the beauty of simplicity. He sought after an imagistic theme for his work rather than pursuing the abstract often seen in other enameled wall art. The image is just the beginning - each piece is paired with a quote around the sides to create an inspiring story through words and images in glass.   "Life is a balance of holding on and letting go." - Rumi   Inevitably, at some point in our lives, situations and circumstances are out of our control. The forces of nature direct the course of events beyond our forecasts, and we are surprised by the unexpected. This is true in every aspect of our lives - in our parenting, our friendships, our work, our travels, and within ourselves. This quote by Rumi is beautifully shown through the dandelion, which holds onto its seeds until it is time to release control, and hope for fair winds to carry its creations to fertile soil.   Release Date: January 28, 2020 Collection: Spring 2020 Made by hand with USA-sourced copper, glass enamel, and a custom wood box frame. - akin to the size of a novel
