Sancerre - 215 - Copper Art Block

Each Houston Llew is carefully handmade using a series of intricate stencil techniques. From the beginning, Houston’s vision for his enameled artworks drew from the beauty of simplicity. He sought after an imagistic theme for his work rather than pursuing the abstract often seen in other enameled wall art. The image is just the beginning - each piece is paired with a quote around the sides to create an inspiring story through words and images in glass. "What matters more than the wine is the moment and the friends with whom our wine is shared." - Olivier Magny   A recurring vision about what it means to connect to others comes to mind in quiet moments. It's a visual snapshot, a living, breathing, laughing capture of a singular time, one we've had at some point, an experience that differs in style, but not in kind. It's on a patio, in a backyard, around a campfire, at a dining table. Someone stands up halfway, laughing at the latest funny story told round the circle, and asks you, "Would you like another glass?" It doesn't matter what's in the bottle, pitcher, jug, or decanter... you look up into their face, committing the moment of connection with those you love to memory, and say, "yes."   Release Date: February 6, 2018 Collection: Spring 2018 Made by hand with USA-sourced copper, glass enamel, and a custom wood box frame. 5¼" x 8½" x 1¾" - akin to the size of a novel.
