Antler Butterfly Dancer by Marlon Lowsayatee

A large gray & cream tinged antler butterfly dancer, carved by Marlon Lowsayatee with jet slit style inlaid eyes. The dancer's face/beard merges into an ornately incised pottery water jar that Marlon has inlaid turquoise 'water' chips to. The wings are carved from the same horn and are incised with geometric patterns and inlaid with 1 turquoise and 1 coral dot. There is a small inlaid antler base for added support. The butterfly dances in it's element; air & the dancer depicts through dance the balance and poise it takes to navigate through life through all man's transformations.
