A standing upright antler deer with pin point lapis inlaid eyes carved by Troy Sice with a second place ribbon - that you will receive if you purchase this winning carving! Troy won this ribbon at the March 2019 Phoenix Heard Guild Indian Fair & Art Market. The deer wears a ceremonial robe with semi precious stones inlaid in a seamless line around the edge of the robe utilizing lapis, Mediterranean coral, pen shell, gold-lip mother-of-pearl, variscite, pink mussel shell, sugilite, malachite, opal & wild horse rock. The incised triangles are inlaid with lapis and symbolize clouds and the coral dots inlaid in the center of the triangles represent rain. Troy has burnished the deer's nose, ears and moccasins & he's adorned the deer with an eighteen dot Mediterranean coral necklace with a pink mussel shell pendant.
