Moore Maker 3 7/8" Bone Trapper Knife

The Moore Maker 3 7/8" Bone Trapper Knife is a classic, high-quality folding knife designed for everyday carry (EDC), hunting, and general utility tasks. Known for its durability, sharpness, and classic design, this trapper knife is a great option for those who appreciate reliable, traditional craftsmanship. Key Features: Blade Material: The knife features high-carbon stainless steel blades, known for their excellent edge retention, sharpness, and corrosion resistance. This ensures the knife can handle a variety of tasks, such as slicing, cutting, and general utility work while maintaining a durable edge. Blade Design: The knife has two blades: A clip-point blade for detailed tasks and precision cuts. A spay blade, which is ideal for skinning tasks or general cutting duties, is especially useful in field dressing games. Both blades are designed to offer versatility, with the clip point providing fine control for tasks requiring accuracy, while the spay blade is more suited for utility and general cutting. Handle Material: The bone handle gives the knife a traditional and elegant look, with natural bone scales that are often dyed and finished to bring out rich color and grain patterns. The bone handle also provides a comfortable grip during use. Bone handles are known for their ability to withstand wear, offering both aesthetic appeal and durability. Locking Mechanism: The Moore Maker 3 7/8" Bone Trapper Knife utilizes a traditional slip joint mechanism, which means it does not lock open but rather relies on friction to hold the blades in place when open. This design is typical for trapper knives and offers a classic, simple mechanism that is easy to use. Blade Length & Overall Size: With a 3 7/8-inch closed length, the knife is compact and portable, making it easy to carry in a pocket or on a belt. When opened, the blades measure around 3 inches, providing a good balance of size for most tasks without being too bulky for everyday carry. Ergonomics: The bone handle offers a comfortable and secure grip, with natural curves that fit well in the hand, making the knife easy to handle during prolonged use. The size and shape of the knife are designed for easy handling, whether you are performing delicate tasks or general utility work. Classic Aesthetic: The bone handle gives the knife a timeless, classic look that appeals to collectors and users who appreciate traditional craftsmanship. The brass bolsters and inlays add a touch of elegance and reinforce the knife's sturdy construction. Applications: The Moore Maker 3 7/8" Bone Trapper Knife is versatile and can be used for a range of activities, including camping, hunting, fishing, and everyday tasks like opening packages, cutting cords, or slicing food. Its compact design makes it an excellent EDC option, while the dual blades provide a range of cutting options for various situations.
