508th Fighter Squadron Iron On Patch by Aeroplane Apparel Co.

Honor the men who liberated Europe with this embroidered patch of the 508th Fighter Squadron emblem. The 508th flew P-47D Thunderbolts and provided cover for the D-Day landings in Normandy. After the invasion, it continued to provide troops with close air support through the end of the War in Europe. Its emblem is a reclined skeleton leisurely riding a bomb toward the ground. This durable patch from Aeroplane Apparel Company attaches easily with Hook and Loop. Your friends are sure to ask you about it, and it's your chance to share your gratitude for the brave fighter pilots of World War II. 2 15/16" Diameter Embroidered Patch with Hook and Loop Backing
