5" Universal Muffler Kit

The diesel truck market has always been about power, presence, and personality. From lifted show builds to slammed street trucks to hard-working daily drivers, owners want their trucks to sound as commanding as they look. For years the only real option was to run straight pipes, chasing maximum volume but dealing with unbearable drone and resonance on long drives. At Valvetronic Designs we saw a better way. With thousands of miles of testing across a wide range of platforms, we have developed a new generation of universal muffler system designed specifically for diesel enthusiasts, available in both 4-inch and 5-inch configurations. This system delivers everything enthusiasts want from their trucks — big sound, big character, and total flexibility — without the compromises of traditional setups. Purpose-Driven Engineering Constructed with the same design philosophy that defines all Valvetronic Designs products, these mufflers bring valved exhaust technology into the diesel world. With valves closed, the system eliminates drone and unwanted frequencies, making even a 5-inch Duramax or Cummins setup comfortable to drive for hours at a time. Open the valves and the truck roars to life with the aggressive, unfiltered tone diesel owners crave, complete with the low-end rumble and smoke-show theatrics that define American diesel culture. Installation is straightforward, with the muffler designed to cut and weld into any existing 4-inch or 5-inch exhaust setup, or to be clamped in place depending on preference. The vacuum system is fully self-contained, with the compressor mounted in the cab, eliminating the need to run plumbing or wiring into the engine bay. This makes the setup simple, reliable, and highly effective, putting full control of your truck’s sound at your fingertips. Key Features Available in both 4-inch and 5-inch universal configurations Valved muffler design delivers both quiet operation and aggressive open sound Eliminates drone and unwanted frequencies common in straight-pipe setups Self-contained vacuum compressor system mounted in the cab for easy installation Simple cut-and-weld or clamp-in integration with existing diesel exhaust systems Thousands of miles of testing performed to ensure reliability and durability Built to handle the demands of both daily-driven work trucks and show-stopping builds The Result With this system installed, diesel truck owners no longer have to choose between obnoxious drone or lifeless silence. The truck can be quiet and refined for long highway drives, towing, or family use, then turn into a raw, aggressive beast with the flip of a switch. This is the muffler that gives diesel enthusiasts everything they have been waiting for — big sound when you want it, comfort when you need it, and zero compromises in between. At Valvetronic Designs our goal is always to protect and enhance the enthusiast experience, and this new generation of diesel mufflers is proof of that mission. By bringing our proven valved exhaust technology into the diesel world, we have created a product that is truly the best on the market. For anyone who loves their truck, whether lifted, slammed, or somewhere in between, this is the ultimate solution to unlock sound and flexibility without compromise.
